Minnesota Timberwolves Player Arrested At Miami Airport

Taurean Prince, a small forward for the Minnesota Timberwolves, is said to have been detained at Miami International Airport.

A warrant out of Texas led to the arrest of Prince

The Miami Herald's report omitted to mention the purpose of the warrant

NBA reporter Andy Slater stated that the Texas warrant relates to "hazardous substances," but he did not provide any other information

Late in June, Prince, 28, agreed to a two-year contract extension with the Timberwolves

He participated in 69 games for the team last year, scoring seven points and pulling down two rebounds. He also had a 45% field goal percentage

That followed his transfer from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Minnesota Timberwolves

Additionally, he has suited up for the Brooklyn Nets, Atlanta Hawks, and Utah Jazz
