Gary Busey charged with sex crimes after alleged incidents at fan convention
Actor Gary Busey will face charges for sex crimes after an incident in the American state of New Jersey
New Jersey police released a statement announcing Busey is to face four charges
Police said they had received multiple complaints about Busey’s alleged behavior
Police allege the crimes occurred during a fan convention called Monster Mania at the Hilton Doubletree in Cherry Hill during the weekend of August 13 and August 14
It’s not known if Busey is in custody in New Jersey or if he returned to California, where he lives, after the convention
Busey started his career in music, playing in bands The Rubber Band and Camp before he moved into acting
His most prominent role was as Buddy Holly in the biopic The Buddy Holly Story, for which he received an Oscar nomination
He once played himself in three episodes of Entourage and reprised the role in the Entourage movie
