Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her daughter Malti’s new pictures
Priyanka Chopra has shared a number of adorable pictures of her seven-month-old daughter, Malti, to show what it’s like to be a mother.
Recall that Priyanka gave birth to her first child earlier this year. The 40-year-old and her husband, Nick Jonas, utilised a surrogate to deliver Malti, joining a lengthy list of famous people who have done the same, including Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Kardashian.
The star recently provided an uncommon insight into what fatherhood has been like thus far, telling her 81.3 million Instagram followers that she has felt a “Love like no other.”
The endearing statement was posted with a collection of pictures, the first of which features Priyanka snuggling with her kid. One fan agreed, saying, “The best!” while another said, “Aaww.” A love-heart emoji was posted in the comments area by supermodel Naomi Campbell, who recently became a mother for the first time.
Only a month ago, it was made public that Priyanka and Nick want to grow their family. According to an insider who spoke to HollywoodLife, “They’ve always known they wanted more than one because having a huge, close family is the most important thing to both of them.” They want it for Malti since that’s all they’ve ever known and because their siblings are one of the most significant aspects of their lives.
The source went on to say: “They aren’t quite ready to have another child yet, but when they are, they’ll employ a surrogate, just like they did the last time. It is only a matter of when; it is not a question of if.”
As for when that might be, a second insider claimed that Nick hopes to have children that are “close in age” – just as he is with his brothers. “Nick has talked about this with his brothers and not only does Nick want his children to be close in age, but he also wants his kids to be close in age to his brothers, Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas’ kids.”
“Nick, Kevin and Joe want their kids to look at their cousins as siblings,” the insider added. “The boys’ parents, of course, are pushing all of them to have as many kids as possible. The more bonus Jonases the better.”
