Spice Girls’ Mel C ‘splits from boyfriend Joe Marshall
According to rumours, Mel C and Joe Marshall are no longer together.
The 48-year-old vocalist has always been anxious to keep their family life quiet. She and Joe started dating in 2015 before he became her manager.
A source who has knowledge of their relationship revealed to The Sun that Mel is extremely busy with her book contract, DJing, and other endeavours.
She spends her limited spare time caring for her daughter Scarlett, which leaves little time for dating.
The insider said that Mel is “not frightened to be alone if she believes it’s for the best” and that the separation was amicable.
Mel, who resides in North London with her daughter Scarlet, 13, and Joe and his two children, previously spoke well of her boyfriend in 2016.
She stated plainly: “He pushes me, but he also loves and respects me. Never have I been in a relationship where I felt like someone had my back, I believe.”
Mel previously admitted that her daughter gave her the motivation to end her relationship with her ex-partner Thomas in 2012.
In an interview, she said: “I make important choices. While leaving her father was difficult, I was unhappy, she wasn’t happy, and the situation wasn’t one I wanted my child to grow up in.”
