Locke
The Tom Hardy-led film Locke is an outstanding masterpiece from Steven Knight. It’s a man in a BMW who gave up everything he had to break free from the grip of self-disgust. Before he gets there, Hardy, a successful construction manager, must make sure he does his duties properly as a worker and a family guy.
Without a question, Hardy gave one of his best performances ever as Locke. The mix of strong acting, an engaging plot, and masterful production put Locke in a class of its own.
127 Hours
A survival story with everything to make your stomach turn, 127 Hours is based on Aron Ralston’s autobiography Between a Rock and a Hard Place. A mountain climber in Utah gets caught in between two rocks while on a trip. Aron experiences hallucinations as he tries to escape, and significant events in his life appear before his eyes.
The gripping survival tale 127 Hours contains significant themes of worth, emotion, fortitude, and inspiration. James Franco gives such a powerful portrayal that it nearly seems as though the character’s emotions are being transmitted by the TV.
The Noah
The concept of a dystopian fantasy is elevated to a whole new level by Noah. The protagonist of the tale is a soldier named Noah who, after a nuclear attack, is the last person left on earth. His mental health soon starts to suffer from the oppressive loneliness, and as a result, he starts to have different kinds of hallucinations.
A compelling tale that was done just how it should be is Noah. The narrative challenges our feelings while striking a chord.
Moon
For sci-fi fans in particular, this one is a real joy to watch. With the exception of an AI companion named GERTY, the protagonist of the original novel is Astronaut Sam Bell, who is by himself on the moon. To solve the world’s energy dilemma, Sam and GERTY work together. Near the end of his mission on the moon, Sam experiences hallucinations.
You’ll be persuaded the movie was shot on the moon by the flawless moonscapes and lighting in it!
